(included in the cost of chemicals), WEST has a broad array of technical and consulting resources available to its customers. One of the primary resources is our field staff. Our field staff is assisted by an inside technical support staff. This staff is equally competent and dedicated to help WEST clients with just about any water-related problem. In addition to having our field staff fully equipped to run just about any test needed, we also have a state-of-the-art laboratory in Anaheim available for backup. Just about the only tests that we don't run in-house are deposit analyses and quantitative Legionella tests. These tests require specialized equipment that we feel are best handled on an out-source basis.
WEST has an excellent technical library and can provide our customers with historical and current literature on just about any subject dealing with boiler, cooling, and closed water treatment. For example, our file on Legionella contains over 50 individual papers and includes the most current publications. Not only is our library available to customers for special requests and projects, it is also a resource for the training materials that we use for educational purposes.
Through past work, and contacts with the Association of Water Technologies, we also have access to many nationally recognized experts in the field of water treatment. We also have a good information exchange arrangement with a large number of other regional water treatment companies and just about all of the major suppliers in the water treatment industry. These kinds of individual resources give added depth to the high degree of experience that already exists within WEST.
